At Craft Putt, we set out to create something different: a place where mini golf isn’t just a quick activity but a full experience. A place where you can challenge your friends on thoughtfully designed holes, sip on top-tier craft beer, and enjoy great food in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

The idea was born from a love of both golf and craft beer. We’ve always believed that putt-putt should be just as enjoyable for adults as it is for kids, and what better way to elevate the game than by pairing it with a carefully curated tap list and a fun, social setting? So, we took the best parts of mini golf—creativity, competition, and pure nostalgia—and combined them with a craft beer bar that celebrates local flavors and good times.

AJ CHINN
OWNER / FOUNDER
AJ Chinn spent nearly a decade navigating the highly analytical world of actuarial science, earning the top designation as a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries while working for some of the biggest health insurance companies in the country. But while crunching numbers paid the bills, his true passion has always been creating unforgettable experiences—especially when they involve mini golf, craft beer, and good company.

AJ’s love for golf started with his grandma, who taught him how to swing a club and took him to play mini golf every chance they got. That early obsession turned into something serious—he’s won multiple state mini golf titles (yes, that’s a thing), which definitely comes in handy as the founder of Craft Putt. With a mix of strategy, creativity, and a deep appreciation for a well-poured pint, AJ has turned his dream of an immersive mini golf and craft beer destination into reality.

When he’s not fine-tuning the perfect putting experience, you’ll probably find AJ on the golf course, brewing his own beer, collecting Pokémon cards, or in his garage working on a woodworking project. Fun fact: his entrepreneurial streak started early—back in 4th grade, he was already running a business selling finger snowboards to classmates. These days, his focus is on building a business that brings people together, gives back to the community, and, most importantly, is just plain fun.
